Wes Stewart is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stewart Moving & Storage, a company he built from the ground up through hands-on industry experience and strategic leadership. He began his career in the moving industry at just 16 years old as a helper, advancing to driver and Owner Operator before transitioning into executive leadership. In 2000, after serving as General Manager of the Richmond, VA location for Paul Arpin Van Lines, Wes purchased the operation and began expanding what would become Stewart Moving & Storage.

Over the next 14 years as an Arpin Agent, he earned multiple performance honors, including the prestigious Paul Arpin Award, and served three years on the Arpin Agent Advisory Board. Since transitioning to an independent carrier in 2014, Wes has led significant expansion — growing the company to 13 warehouses across nine markets in five states. A respected industry leader, he also served two years as President of the Virginia Movers & Warehousemen’s Association and currently serves as Past President. Wes was awarded the 2025 IAM Excellence in Leadership Award presented by the IAM Leadership Alliance Council.
